About Bobby Hutcherson

Robert Hutcherson (January 27, 1941 – August 15, 2016) was an American jazz vibraphone and marimba player. "Little B's Poem", from the 1966 Blue Note album Components, is one of his best-known compositions. Hutcherson influenced younger vibraphonists including Steve Nelson, Joe Locke, and Stefon Harris.

Medina is an album by jazz vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson. It was released in 1980 on Blue Note Records (LT 1086), featuring six tracks recorded on 11 August 1969. The CD reissue added five tracks (#7–11), recorded in 1968 and previously released on vinyl in 1979 under the title Spiral.
